Arrowhead Resources, Inc. (Arrowhead) is a family owned company located in Sayre, Oklahoma, in the heart of the Anadarko Basin. We buy and sell oil and gas leases, as well as producing and non-producing mineral interests in Western Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle. The Rizley family has been involved in the oil and gas industry since the 1950's, and our team has collectively over 100 years of experience.
Minerals and Leasing
Since 1980, Arrowhead has acquired leases for many of the industry leaders in this area. Last year alone, we leased over 7,000 acres in Beckham County. For the past decade, we have been successful in purchasing minerals that generate attractive returns for both us and our partners. We have also participated in the drilling of hundreds of wells.
Arrowhead has continued to thrive in an industry known for its “bust” and “boom” cycles, largely because we have a reputation of being fair and honest. Our commitment to the community has carried through in all our business ventures and has allowed us to be a true ‘resource’ to our friends and neighbors.
Wind Power
We have expanded our efforts to now include the development of wind farm projects. Our wind team has been able to utilize their experience in the oil and gas industry to achieve success in acquiring wind easements, as well as working with the members of the local communities to promote the development of this clean renewable energy source. With our expertise in GIS mapping, landowner relationships and strong local ties, we are fast becoming Western Oklahoma’s wind energy leader.
